Sundial Chardonnay

Sundial Chardonnay

Our Sundial Chardonnay is bright and balanced, with layers of fruit-forward flavor. Notes of baked apple, pear, citrus blossom and crème brûlée on the nose give way to a crisp, medium-bodied palate. Pronounced flavors of exotic pear and lemongrass are balanced by subtle suggestions of caramel chew and cashew, layered over a lingering finish.

In another strong, early vintage in California, the Chardonnay grapes were harvested at peak ripeness, then cold-settled, whole cluster-pressed and fermented in a combination of tank and barrel to create a crisp, food-friendly Chardonnay. The wine was aged partially in stainless steel and partially with oak, a balance envisioned to complement the wine’s lively, fruit-driven profile with the premium toast notes and supple mouthfeel imparted by French and American oak.
